Native Plant Sale - Winter Shrub and Tree Sale

***Native Shrub and Tree Pre-Order Sale***

 

Just in time for the last month of winter planting season, NCARI will be offering a variety of native shrubs and trees to add beauty and wildlife value to your landscape.

 

This is a pre-order (online) plant sale, with pickup at the Secotan Market in Wanchese on Saturday, Feb 01, 2025.

 

Cost: $15/plant (1-5 gallon, depending on species). Each species can be purchased separately.

 

Order window: Through Wednesday, Jan 29 (or until sold out)

 

Pickup Time: Saturday, February 01, 9:00AM -12:00 PM

 

Pickup Location: Secotan Market, Wanchese

 

Plant species offered (each sold individually):

 

Adaptable Evergreens: Yaupon Holly, American Holly, Wax Myrtle, Dwarf Palmetto, Red Cedar

 

Adaptable Deciduous Shrubs: American Beautyberry, Possumhaw Viburnum, Swamp Dogwood, St. Andrew’s Cross

 

Moisture-loving Deciduous Shrubs (NOT drought-tolerant): Summersweet Clethra, Coast Azalea, Virginia Sweetspire

 

Trees: White Oak
