The NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island is now open to the public. Advanced, timed ticketing purchase is required.

At this time, we are not offering our Sleeping with the Sharks overnight programs until further notice, due to COVID-19 safety restrictions.

Sleeping with the Sharks

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, join us at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island for an overnight program that will have your group “swimming” with excitement for months! Groups can slumber in front of the 285,000-gallon Graveyard of the Atlantic exhibit, as sharks and other fish swim close by.  Your overnight stay includes time to tour the aquarium, two evening program activities, an evening snack, and breakfast the following morning.  This program is designed for private groups.

Participants must be ages 6 and older.

Evening program options:
 Turtles, Snakes, Sharks, Touch Pool Talk, Ocean Jeopardy, Night Hike, or Gyotaku (fish printing).

$50.00 per Person
$100 Deposit is required upon making your reservation.
MINIMUM OF 15 PARTICIPANTS OR $750.00
