NC Aquarium and NC Zoo members MUST bring their membership card and photo ID that matches the card.

NC EBT card holders must bring their NORTH CAROLINA EBT card and photo ID that matches the card. Out-of-state EBT card holders will not receive a discount.

Areas of the aquarium may be closed and some animals may not be visible for a variety of reasons including regular or special care for the animals and their living space. Refunds or exchanges are not possible in cases of closed areas or unavailable animals. Please contact us if you have questions about specific animals or experiences.

Animals and Pets are NOT allowed at the aquarium. We welcome ADA qualified service animals that are specifically trained to perform tasks which aid a person with a disability. Please inform Visitor Services if a trained service animal will be assisting you.

By state law, no firearms are allowed.

Refunds or exchanges must be requested at least 24 hours prior to scheduled entry time. Purchases made within 24 hours of entry time are not eligible for refunds.

The aquarium will honor admission up to 30 minutes past the reserved time, unless the aquarium is made aware of unforeseen circumstances. On sold out days and at sold out times, the aquarium cannot admit guests more than 15 minutes before their reserved time.

Guests under the age of 16 that are not part of a field trip, camp, or special activity must have an adult with their group to enter.
