Winter Camps

Holiday camps at the Aquarium combine fun and learning into wintertime adventures for children during the holiday break. Participants enjoy outdoor activities, animal interactions, discovery labs, and behind-the-scenes action. Participants must bring their own lunch and bottle water and wear closed-toe shoes. Dress appropriate for the weather. Grades 2 - 6


8:30am - 2:30pm

 Price $40 for nonmember and $36.00 for members.
Camp payment is due in full once registration is confirmed.

Camps

Cold Blooded Critters

8:30am - 2:30pm daily

12/29-  Cold Blooded Creatures 

 

What's a reptile? What's an amphibian? Campers will get a chance to learn all about the reptiles and amphibians and meet a few up close and personal! During the day, campers will enjoy outdoor activities, animal encounters, discovery labs, and a closer look at behind-the-scenes areas. Camp is limited to 15 participants. Advance registration is required

Fur & Feathers

8:30am - 2:30pm daily

12/30-  Fur and Feathers 
Come learn about animals that have fur and feathers. During this camp campers will get do participate in hands on activities while learning about birds and mammals. Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor activites along with meeting some of our residence animals. Camp is limited to 15 participants. Advance registration is required.

Dig into Dinos

12/31- Dig into Dinos 

 

Want to learn what a paleontologist. Take a jump in to the time of the dinosaurs. During this camp students will take part in learning about these prehistoric animals through hands on activities and lessons. Campers will be indoor and outdoors doing a variety of different activities.
Camp is limited to 15 participants. Advance registration is required.

Sea Turtle Camp 2 - 6 Grades

1/19- Sea turtle Camp 
 
Your budding marine biologist can experience what it's like to work with these beloved marine reptiles during their school holiday. Participants learn all about sea turtles as they work alongside the Aquarium's turtle biologists. Animal encounters, behind-the-scenes action and a take-home craft project also are included.
Camp is limited to 15 participants. Advance registration is required.
