Single-Day, Day Camps

SENSEational Sharks Day Camp (Ages 9-12)

Calling all shark enthusiasts!  Find out what it means to belong to a group of cartilaginous fish "Chondrichthyes" --sharks, skate and rays!  Discover the diversity of sharks and check out local shark species in the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" exhibit, take part in a shark dissection to learn about shark anatomy and senses, tour the aquarium and dive into shark discovery stations. Sharks are one of the Aquariums' SAFE species (saving animals from endangered), come learn some shark conservation projects we take part in. Uncover how SENSEational sharks are for our oceans!

Ages 9-12.  Campers must bring sunscreen, a hat, closed toe shoes, and a bag lunch for the day.  Additional snacks will be provided.

School's Out Day Camps

Calling all shark enthusiasts!  Learn about the animals that belong to a group of cartilaginous fish "Chondrichthyes" --sharks, skate and rays!  Check out local shark species in the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" exhibit, take part in a shark dissection to learn about shark external and internal anatomy, tour the aquarium and dive into shark discovery stations. Learn how sharks are one of the Aquariums' AZA's SAFE species (saving animals from extinction) and discover some shark conservation projects we take part in. 

Ages 9-12.  Campers must wear closed-toe shoes and bring a bag lunch for the day.  Additional snacks will be provided.

*We require a minimum number of campers to run Day Camp, parents/guardians will be notified a week in advance if numbers are low and final decision made 48 hours before camp.
