Think surf, sun and sand. Learn skills needed to be a true waterman – surfing, fishing and kayaking. At low tide, go surfing with Farmdog Surf School of Nags Head. Campers participate in a different water adventure each day. They explore an estuary ecosystem while kayaking, catch fish off the pier and in nearby sound-side waters. They even train as lifeguards, learning water safety and how to read the beach for dangerous systems such as rip currents.
